The filmgate includes angled wheels (17,18) which can be locked in any orientation. A moveable film is disposed on the wheels which are rotatably. Preferably, braking arrangements (24,27) are allocated to the angled wheels. The braking arrangements include disc brakes with discoid brake shoes (26) which act upon the wheels. Fixed blocking arrangements which include blocking elements such as pins, are allocated to the angled wheels. The wheels are provided with openings for engaging with the blocking elements.
