PATCH CONTAINING 1,2-ETHANEDIOL DERIVATIVES OR SALTS THEREOF

A patch comprising a substrate and, formed thereon, a plaster layer containing the following components (a) to (d) exhibits higher drug absorption than that attained by oral administration, and is excellent in the persistence of blood drug level: (a) a 1,2-ethanediol derivative of general formula (1) or a salt thereof, wherein R<1> is hydrogen, halogeno or alkyl, and R<2> and R<3> are each independently alkyl; (b) urea; (c) polyethylene glycol; and (d) a film-forming nitrogenous polymer.
