PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support rail member that is easy to handle and has no joints when installed on a roof and to provide a support structure using the members. SOLUTION: A support rail member 5 installed along the pitching direction of a roof 2 in order to support a solar energy converting panel 1 has a rail main body 10 interposed between the solar-cell panel 1 and the roof 2, the rail main body 10 being made from an elastomer. The rail main body 10 can be wound into a roll because of its elasticity and is therefore easy to handle during transportation, etc. Joints between the support rail members 5 can be eliminated by cutting them to match the pitching length of the roof surface at a construction site. |
