PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PAS(polyarylene sulfide) resin composition which exhibits excellent adhesion to an epoxy resin and the like, in addn. to high heat resistance and high mechanical strength of a conventional PAS(polyarylene sulfide) resin. SOLUTION: This composition comprises 100 pts.wt. polyarylene sulfide, 0.01 to 5.0 pts.wt. ureidosilane compd. and 0 to 400 pts.wt. inorganic filler, wherein the polyarylene sulfide has the following properties: 0.7wt.% or less in terms of the content of extractables with methylene chloride, 20 to 15,000 poise in terms of the melt viscosity V6 , and 15μmol/g or more in terms of the amount of SX group wherein X represents an alkali metal or hydrogen atom.
