PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a light-diffusing plate for the transmitted manuscript-reading unit if an image treating device, capable of obtaining diffused transmitted light little in irregular transmitted light and uniform even in fine regions. SOLUTION: This light-diffusing plate for the transmitted manuscript-reading unit of an image-reading device is obtained by molding a resin composition comporting 100 pts.wt. of an aromatic polycarbonate resin and 0.1-15 pts.wt. of a bead-like cross-linked acrylic resin having a weight-average particle diameter of 1-30μm. The obtained light-diffusing plate has a total light transmittance of >=40% and a dispersion degree of >=10 degree.
