PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper discharge tray to which printed paper sheets can be properly stacked in the order of the discharged paper sheets without causing any unnecessary kink due to a curl and the like in the printed paper sheet discharged from a paper discharge unit in a printer. SOLUTION: An angleαwhich the paper discharging direction A corresponding to the paper sheet face of a paper sheet discharged via a pair of paper discharge rollers 17 makes with the horizontal face L is set to be within a range of 22-32 degrees, while anglesβ,γ,δwhich respective faces B, C, D specified by the lowermost end X of a paper discharge tray 8 and a tip 22 of a supporting wire 20 make with the horizontal face L are set to be within a range of 14-28 degrees. In this way, the front end of a paper sheet discharged from the paper discharge rollers 17 is prevented from pushing the rear end of a paper sheet already stacked on the paper discharge tray 8, and the paper sheets can be discharged properly while stacked on the paper discharge tray 8 sequentially without causing any unnecessary kink such as a curl in the paper sheet.
