<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for ink jet recording for yielding and recording an ink image onto a heated recording medium which can ensure storage stability, ensure fastness of the recorded image, and prevent clogging of an ink ejection head. SOLUTION: This ink composition for use in an ink jet recording apparatus, which, upon arrival of an ink ejected, through an ink ejection head, at a recording medium 75, applies heat to the ink by means of a platen 71 through the recording medium 75, comprises a pigment and an emulsion of a thermoplastic resin having a glass transition temperature of 50 to 120 deg.C and a heat absorption of not less than 0.5mj/mg.</p> |
