PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air stream carrying method of pulverized coal, which can keep up with increase of the blowing quantity of the pulverized coal without largely changing a pulverized coal blowing equipment. SOLUTION: In a method for carrying the pulverized coal with the air stream in a carrying piping to a distributor (f) for distributing into each tuyere in a blast furnace (c) by fluidizing the pulverized coal with a pulverized coal discharging tank and blowing air to the discharged pulverized coal from a disperser (e), air is blown from the disperser at flowing speed of air satisfying the condition of the formula, V>4C/15πD<2>γaccording to the pulverized coal discharging quantity and inner diameter of the carrying piping for the pulverized coal to carry the pulverized coal. Wherein, V is the air flowing speed (m/s), C is blowing quantity of the pulverized coal (kg/s), D is inner diameter of the carrying pipe (m) andγis sp. gr. of air (kg/m<3> ). Then, air is blown into a supplying hole of the pulverized coal in the distributor (f) to control the flowing speed at inlet of the distributor.
