PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new protein having a specific amino acid sequence, derived from human amygdaloid nucleus, participating in signal transmission to cell and useful for development of a medicine comprising a receptor- binding antagonist and development, etc., of assay system bound to a receptor. SOLUTION: This new G protein conjugated type receptor protein (salt) contains a same or a substantially same amino acid sequence as the amino acid sequence represented by the formula and is related to signal transmission into cell and useful for development of a receptor-bound assay system and screening and drug design, etc., of medicine candidate compounds. The protein is obtained by comparing base sequences of cDNAs coding amino acid sequences of various receptor proteins by using a cDNA derived from human amygdaloid nucleus, carrying out amplification by PCR using a DAN primer having a base sequence in a highly analogous part, integrating the resultant DNA into a vector and expressing the DNA in a host cell. |
