PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the straight flow and back flow of ink, upward writing and blurring in writing after impact for a ball point pen filled with a low viscosity ink. SOLUTION: A valve chamber 7 is provided at the rear of an end inner hole 6 of a joint, and a ball supporting seat 7a and an introduction hole 8 are formed at the rear of the valve chamber, and a rear end hole 9a is opened at the rear of the introduction hole. A ball valve 4 is set in the valve chamber, and the ball valve with its tip facing upward is brought into contact with the ball supporting seat 7a to block the introduction hole and prevent the backflow of ink. When the tip faces downward, the ball valve is brought into contact with the rear end of the tip to secure an ink inflow base, and writing can be carried out. A follower 12 and a follower bar 13 are moved forward integrally following the ink because of the consumption of ink following the writing, and the follower can be flowed into the introduction hole on the foremost position on which the front end of the follower bar is brought into contact with the joint 5. |
