PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a diet for improving hepatic function containing proteins originating from aquatic animals, preventing fat from accumulating in liver in vivo, and useful in prevention and alleviation of hepatopathy. SOLUTION: This diet contains proteins originating from aquatic animals for example, marine animals such as cod, salmon, sardine, fresh water fish, mollusks such as shells, cuttlefish, octopus and crustaceans such as shrimps, crabs or the like. Food products from frozen fish meat of Alaska pollack, Atka mackerel, sardines, mackerel and the like, for example, boiled fish paste, fish meat sausage are particularly useful because the proteins from aquatic animal are readily available. |
