<p>The magazine (1) for feeding bundles of bristles through a distributor (2) to a stuffing tool has fixed (5) and swivelable (6) sections. Channels passing through the first (4a,b,c) and swivelling sections (4a',b',c') are symmetrically disposed relative to the longitudinal axis (14) of the machine. The fixed and swivelling sections meet at an arc-shaped separating plane (9), pref. with the swivelling section convex and the fixed concave member. The arc circle centre lies on the swivel axis (10). In the fixed section the channels are mainly parallel, with feeders (11) mounted between channels. The channels converge towards the separating plane, where the fixed channels are wider than the swivelling ones. Channel sidewall end faces at the separator plane pref. have sharp corner with clearance less than a bristle diameter.</p> |
