Wave-powered power generation plant

The energy generation plant has at least one body (2) which is moved by the wave movement relative to a second body (1), which remains stationary, or which only moves slightly in response to the wave movement, with mechanical conversion of the relative movement into useful energy. The stationary body can be provided by a floating core of large mass, provided around its periphery with a number of lightweight floats displaced by the wave movement for operation of compressors via respective crank rods (4). Components for extraction of electrical energy and hydrogen/oxygen may be incorporated in the plant.
