In NO-inhalation therapy, a completely homogenous mixture of an NO-containing gas mixture and a respiratory gas is produced by means of a filter. Preference is given to a filter with a sulphur-containing polymer as the active component. This makes it possible to remove NO<2>, N2O3 and N2O4 from the NO-containing gas mixture and, where there is a moistener (6.22), NO2<-> and NO3<-> as well. |
