A tape holding case (14) for use with tape printing apparatus has a housing defining a cavity in which is located a supply (16) of image receiving tape (2) having a heat sensitive layer. The housing is constructed in a light tight manner to prevent exposure of the heat sensitive layer to light prior to formation of an image thereon. The light-tightness of the case may be maintained by a pivoted door (24), which is pivoted when the case is inserted into the printing apparatus. |
