PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to maintain the excellent heat transporting capacity even in the case of continuously operating for a long period at a high temperature by providing a wick made of many copper wire materials roughed by oxidation and deoxigenation in a container. SOLUTION: A wick 3 made of copper extrafine wires is fixed to the inner periphery of a body 1a by a fixing member 2 to form one unit 4. When the unit 4 is baked in the air without load, oxide films are formed on the surfaces of the wick 3 and member 2 and the inner wall of the body 1a. Predetermined number of units 4 are contained in a high-temperature furnace 5 becoming a nitrogen gas atmosphere therein, deoxidated, seasoned, then a container 1 is degassed in vacuum, and then pure water of predetermined amount is sealed as operating fluid via an injection nozzle 1b. Thus, even when it is continuously operated for a long period at a high temperature, oxygen gas is not stayed in the container, and excellent heat transporting capacity can be maintained. |
