PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the increase of number of wiring with resolution improvement. SOLUTION: A matrix-shaped touch panel input device 1 is provided with a touch panel 4 arranging plural transparent electrodes 40 and 41 in lateral and longitudinal axial directions, CPU 2, driving part 6 for impressing a driving voltage to one arranged electrode corresponding to an instruction from this CPU 2, and interface part 5 having a detection part 7 for detecting the voltage of the other arranged electrode and transmitting this detecting signal to the CPU 2. The driving part 6 is arranged near the terminal part of the touch panel 4, every suitable number of electrodes connected to the driving part 6 are defined as one group, and a parallel converting means 8 is provided for each group so that the driving voltage can be impressed to the electrodes inside the group based on the instruction signal from the CPU 2. |
