PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming an image at a high speed with laser beams from visible to near IR regions by using a photoreceptor having excellent stability with age. SOLUTION: The image is formed by imagewise irradiating the photoreceptor, which contains sensitizing dyestuff having at least either of a dialkyl amino group and durolysine skeleton and capable of absorbing light of 450 to 1100nm and an o-quinonediazide compd. with light which can absorb this sensitizing dyestuff but cannot absorb the o-quinonediazide compd. to form a latent image, then irradiating the entire surface with the light which can be absorbed into the o-quinonediazide compd., then subjecting the photoreceptor to development processing. |
