PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have an increased pressure quantity adequately controlled at the time of starting pressure increase again after pressure decrease under anti-skid control. SOLUTION: In order to utilize a slip state recovering tendency after starting pressure increase, if the first wheel rotational acceleration rate VWp '' which is a wheel rotational acceleration rate VW'' after starting pressure decrease when a wheel rotational acceleration VW' recovers to a set acceleration G is large, increased pressure quantity is made larger than that in the case of its small value. In addition, from the point of time when a wheel rotational acceleration VW' exceeds the first set accelerationα, it is judged whether pressure increase is started or not during a period from the state in which the second set accelerationβn which is more than the first set accelerationαis exceeded to the state in which it comes in a state below the second set accelerationβn and when the pressure increase is started during this period, increased pressure quantity is made larger than that in the case of its no start.
