PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move an optical head to the outer peripheral side large in maximum allowable reproducing power in the case of causing the tracking-out and to prevent data destruction by setting a light output based on an address, comparing it with a real light output and controlling a drive current. SOLUTION: A regenerative signal detected by a regenerative signal detection circuit 9 is outputted from a regenerative signal processing circuit 10 and an ID/address detection circuit 11 as the regenerative data and the address data. A CPU 18 decided a light output setting value at every recording area of a disk beforehand, and sets the light output based on the input address data to input it to a light output control circuit 14. On the other hand, a light output detection circuit 13 detects the real light output, and compares it with the set light output, and controls a drive current passing through a semiconductor laser through a laser current driver circuit 15 so as to become an error range. This, when tracking comes off, and a tracking error occurs, by moving the optical head to the outer peripheral side large in the maximum allowable reproducing power, the destruction of the data is prevented. |
