发明名称 HYDROGENATING CATALYST USED IN PRODUCTION OF HYDROGEN PEROXIDE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst high in the hydrogenating activity of anthraquinones and reduced in its deterioration speed by using a palladium catalyst having silica with a specific average pore size as a carrier and to enable the production of hydrogen peroxide excellent in economical efficiency using this catalyst. SOLUTION: This catalyst has silica of which the average pore size becomes 80-400Å after all processes for producing the catalyst are completed as a carrier. This silica is brought into contact with a soln. containing ammonium ions to be subjected to the ion exchange with ammonium ions and subsequently brought into contact with a soln. of a palladium compd. After ions containing palladium are supported by ion exchange, ions containing palladium are decomposed by baking and further subjected to reducing treatment if necessary to form palladium metal. If this palladium catalyst is used, the amt. of the catalyst used in the hydrogenation of anthraquinones can be reduced.
