<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension regulator mechanism for a recording and reproducing device applicable to a VCR device, etc., capable of effectively preventing a hunting phenomenon of a tension regulator arm by adding a simple member. SOLUTION: The tension regulator arm 8 has a tension coil spring 26 for spring energization in the direction of enhancing tape tension in a tape traveling system, and a damper sheet 35 is inserted into this tension coil spring 26 to come under the state of friction contact between them to give a damper effect in expansion and contraction of the spring. Consequently, resonance operation is prevented from happening to the tension regulator arm 8.</p> |
