PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a noise caused by the rotation of a polygon motor, and also, to prevent the early deterioration of the polygon motor. SOLUTION: A raster time from the start of transferring recorded data to a controller 1100 up to the development of the recorded data in a plotter engine circuit is measured by a raster time measuring means 1207, and a raster time for the next output demand is predicted by a CPU 1201 based on the raster data. Then, a time from the acceptance of the recording demand by the controller 1100 up to the completion of transferring the data to the plotter engine circuit is estimated by the CPU 1201, and the polygon motor is previously driven before the completion of transferring the data to the plotter engine circuit. |
