SUPPORTING DEVICE FOR SHEET MATERIAL CUTTING SHEARS

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: supporting device has rigid frame 1 made of supporting strips interposed between back stops 3 and bearing on supporting rod 4. Front edge 5 of frame 1 is L-shaped and bent downwards. Horizontal axle 7 is pivotally connected with the opposite side of the frame in cantilever 6. The horizontal axle is pivotally connected with vertical pin 8 which passes through guide groove 9 of cantilever 10 and is secured to the end of lever 11. The second end of lever 11 is provided with a longitudinal groove through which it is pivotally connected with the supporting rod of the cantilever from the side opposite to cutting member 15 of the shears. A two-way air-actuated cylinder controlled by, e.g. a solenoid air distributor, is pivotally connected to rod 4 and intermediate portion of lever 11. The solenoid air distributor is connected with the drive for moving cutting member 15. The end of pin 8 is provided with a thread whereon nut 19 and lock-nut 20 are screwed for control of inclination of rigid frame 1 in the vertical plane. At the front of guide groove 9 is slide 21 which is locked with bolt 22 for control of overhang of frame 1 in the direction of cutting member 15 of the shears. Back stops 3 are mounted on supporting rod 4 through horizontal axles 23 for permitting arrested rotation and action on switches of the control system. EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities.
