An image-forming apparatus having a developer container containing a developer which is to be inserted into a developer replenisher of a main body, a cover for the developer replenisher and a cover for the developer container is disclosed. The cover for the developer replenisher and the cover for the developer container are capable to be opened, in the inserted state. And the developer contained in the developer container is replenished to the developer replenisher; wherein the image-forming apparatus has a discriminating means for discriminating whether the inserted developer container being identified with the developer replenisher. And the cover for the developer replenisher and the cover for the developer container are to be opened only when the inserted developer container is identified.
