<p>The dry type carpet washing machine of the present invention has a high washing effect even if the quantity of use of particles impregnated with a liquid cleanser is small, and can wash a carpet within a short time and makes the care after the use thereof easy. The dry type carpet washing machine is provided with a rotatable disc (14) mounted on one end of a substantially vertical rotatable shaft rotatively driven by a motor so as to be capable of contacting with the carpet, and having on the surface thereof contacting with the carpet a plurality of main blades (15) each comprising a planar spiral projection monotonously increased in radius vector in the direction of rotation of the rotatable main shaft, and when the main blades (15) are rotated while rubbing against the surface of the carpet, the particles impregnated with the liquid cleanser are rubbed against the surface of the carpet to thereby cause the stains of the carpet to adhere to the particles, thus washing the carpet.</p> |
