The present invention relates to a power unit for transportation which is fitted with an energetic module (3) in the form of one or more rotor units (6). Each unit (6) includes a shaft (7) onto which a rotating frame (8) is mounted, while blades (9) are attached to said rotating frame in order to generate drag forces. Each unit (6) also includes a main drive (10) connected at least to the engine (5) of the power unit of a vehicle (1), wherein said engine is used as a power source to rotate the blades (9) of the rotor units (6).
