The pressure gas switch includes at least one contact breaker, comprising respectively a first and a second contact piece. The contact pieces (2, 3) of at least one contact breaker are coupled over an lever mechanism with at least one switch lever comprising two lever arms (6, 27). The contact pieces are reciprocally adjustable by device of a single drive (11) along the central axis (M) of the pressure gas switch. An insulating material nozzle (9) is arranged coaxially to the central axis, and fastened to the first contact piece (3) of this circuit breaker. The rotation axis of the switch lever crosses the central axis of the pressure gas switch in a right angle. A bar (7, 8) is respectively fastened over a rotation joint to both lever arms. The first bar (9) is connected revolvingly with the insulating material nozzle, and the second bar (8) is coupled revolvingly with the second contact piece (2).
