摘要 <p>A resonator structure (100) including a first resonator (101) having a first resonator loop (201) formed by a hollow channel with conductive walls and a second resonator (102) having a second resonator loop (202) formed by a hollow channel with conductive walls. The first resonator loop (201) and the second resonator loop (202) intersect so that the first and second resonator loops (201, 202) are substantially shielded to prevent coupling of high frequency energy between the first and second resonator loops (201, 202). A sample is placed in a space (107) defined by the intersection of the first and second resonator loops (201, 202). High frequency energy is applied to the first resonator (101). The angle at which the second resonator loop (202) intersects the first resonator loop (201) is selected to substantially decouple the first resonator (101) from the second resonator (102). A detector circuit detects the high frequency energy in the second resonator loop (202) and supplies the detected signal for subsequent analysis.</p>
