<p>An electric machine (4) has a stator (10) and a rotor (12) arranged in the driving train of a driving unit, for example on the crankshaft (16) of an internal combustion engine (2). An insulation against vibrations (22) integrated in the rotor (12) of the electric machine (4) is additionally incorporated into the driving train. The electric machine functions for example as a starter/generator, a generator brake, an auxiliary drive and/or an active vibration damper.</p>
