<p>Creases are formed in a cellulosic fiber textile by treating the fiber textile with liquid ammonia, creasing the fiber textile, and treating the fiber textile with hot water or alkaline solution substantially simultaneous with or subsequent to the creasing step. Fully durable creases are formed in the cellulosic fiber textile without detracting from strength. <IMAGE></p>
