PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe coupling assembly which is free in selection from the viewpoint of mounting and using, by threadably connecting a first end of a sleevelike main body and a nut member to each other, engaging the nut member with the flange of a first coupling part on the opposite side of a sealing surface w, and engaging the flange of a half ring member and the flange of a second coupling part with each other at a second end. SOLUTION: A male coupling nut 34 having a center opening 36 formed in a size that can freely receive the diameter reduced part of the tubular end of a pipe coupling member 12, is used for this improved coupler, a male screw is arranged at the first end 38 of the male coupling nut 34 so that an end surface 40 can have a flat surface normal to an axial line, and the end surface 40 is assembled to the circumference of a gland member 12 so as to be engaged with the shoulder 28 of a flange 26. The male nut member 34 is cooperatively engaged with a female nut assembly 44, sealing end surfaces 16 are mutually opposed and driven, and sealed and engaged with a gasket member 24. A split ring connector assembly 62 is arranged at the second end 60 of a main body 54, the male nut member 34 is fastened to the inside of a sleevelike body 54, and compressive force is applied to coupling members 12, 14, thereby this improved coupler can be sealed by the gasket 24. |
