PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a belt which can maintain excellent toner release property for a long time, prevents damages on a photosensitive drum or a cleaning device, has a high tensile strength and does not cause slipping of a toner during transfer, by forming the outermost layer out of a material essentially comprising a silicone resin. SOLUTION: The innermost layer 13 of the belt consists of a fluorocarbon resin. A first intermediate layer 14 on the layer 13 consists of a polyamide resin, and further, a second intermediate layer 15 consists of a fluorocarbon resin. The outermost layer 16 consists of a silicone resin. As for the silicone resin used for the outermost layer 16, especially a hard-type one-liquid or two- liquid hardening silicone resin is preferable. By forming the outermost layer 16 comprising a silicone resin having B to 5H pencil hardness and by controlling the thickness to 0.5 to 30μm, flexibility can be added to the outermost layer 16. Thus, the obtd. endless belt does not cause damages such as cracks and does not give damages to a photosensitive drum or a cleaning device. |
