STYRENE FOAMED MOLDED OBJECT, MOLD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME AND DRAIN PAN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a practical foamed molded object generating no water leak only by molding foamed polystyrene beads, by using a mold having a polytetrafluoroethylene layer with a specific thickness formed on the surface of the cavity side. SOLUTION: Polytetrafluoroethylene layers 14, 15 with a thickness of 35-60μm are formed on the surfaces on the cavity sides of a male mold 10 having a protruding part provided to a part thereof in order to form a recessed part to the surface of a molded object and a female mold 11 arranged freely attachable/detacable to the male mold 10. Foamable polyethylene beads at low foaming temperature are heated to form prefoamed particles which are, in turn, filled into the cavity formed by combining the male and female molds 10, 11 to be heated and pressed to botain a styrene foamed molded object 16 capable of being uniformly subjected to secondary foaming process over the surface and interior thereof and having no gaps between particles and generating no water leak.
