An alignment plate rotatably connected with a lower face of a housing via a hinge portion is provided with a plurality of board terminal through-holes. Guide ribs are formed at openings of the through-holes to introduce ends of board terminals into the through-holes. When the alignment plate is rotated backwards into the alignment position, all board terminals are guided into the through-holes by the guide ribs, and the alignment plate is locked to the housing. Also, a terminal alignment member having a plurality of board terminal through-holes is rotatably connected to a connector housing and the board terminals are aligned when they penetrate the terminal through-holes. The terminal alignment member is composed of four division elements, which are integrally connected with each other via hinge portions. To make the terminals penetrate the terminal through-holes, each division element is rotated around the hinge portion such that the terminals are interposed between the division elements with tapering protrusions aligning with and being pushed into V-shaped cutout portions.
