PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely raise the temperature of not only a sterilizing vessel but also the inside of bacteria to be sterilized in a pretreatment process, by controlling to increase/decrease the number of repetition of operation to guide steam into the sterilizing vessel up to a prescribed pressure and to release the pressure from the sterilizing vessel. SOLUTION: A first steam supply valve 3 and a third steam supply valve 12 are opened at first to preheat a sterilizing vessel 1 and a heating tube 10. Next, the first steam supply valve 3 is closed and an exhaust valve 28 is opened to make the inside of the vessel 1 be the atmospheric pressure and, after confirming that by a pressure detection means 31, a matter to be sterilized is carried into the vessel 1. Then, the first steam supply valve 3 and a second steam supply valve 7 are opened to supply steam to the vessel 1 and a heat exchanger 5. Judging whether the pressure in the vessel 1 goes up to a prescribed pressure within a prescribed time from the start of steam guiding or not, when YES, the first steam supply valve is closed and the exhaust valve 28 is opened to discharge steam. Then, guiding steam in and discharging are repeated a prescribed times. When it is judged NO, the prescribed number is increased to repeat more times. |
