CONTINUOUS COMPOSITE MATERIAL WITH CHANGING CROSSSECTIONAL FACE, ITS PRODUCTION AND APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a continuous composite material with high decorative properties wherein both crosssectional shapes of a continuous molded material and a resin part are changing by means of extrusion molding and to manufacture continuously the continuous composite material under a condition where the whole body is integrated and exhibits excellent appearance by using a simple apparatus. SOLUTION: Continuous molding materials 2 with common crosssectional part 2b with approximately the same crosssectional shapes along the longer direction and with changing crosssectional part 2a with changing crosssectional shapes changing along the longer direction are continuously fed in the longer direction in a mold 26 for extrusion molding with a fixed mold 31 and the first and second movable molds 32a and 32b and the common crosssectional part 2a and the changing crosssectional part 2a are respectively passed through in the longer direction in accordance with respectively the fixed mold 31 and the first movable mold 32a and while the first movable mold 32a is moved, a resin is extruded from an orifice 45 and the second movable mold 32b is moved and the resin flow is divided by means of a cutter 48 and a resin part 3 with a changing crosssectional shape is formed thereby on a changing crosssectional part.
