PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the noise to be generated at the time of opening and operating a brake by gradually increasing the exciting current command to an elastic member, which makes a brake shoe engage with a guide rail so as to generate the braking force, and an electromagnet to a specified value, and thereafter, quickly reducing the exciting current command. SOLUTION: At the time of opening a brake, value of the brake coil current Ib is gradually increased so that a magnet frame and a magnet armature slowly come close to each other, and at the time when the brake coil current Ib achieves the brake coil current Ib1, value of the brake coil current Ib is quickly reduced to the brake coil current Ib2 so as to reduce the operation noise. At the time of braking, the brake coil current Ib is gradually reduced from the time T3, and at the time just before the time when the value of the current Ib1 achieves the current value Ib3, at which the magnet frame and the armature quickly start to be separated, the brake coil current Ib is oppositely increased so as to make the movement for pushing the brake shoe to the guide rail slow and reduce the operation noise. |
