PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method to easily and industrially produce a uniaxially oriented thin film, especially, to easily and continuously produce the film by forming an optically anisotropic molecular material on the surface of a fluorocarbon resin film obtd. by rolling. SOLUTION: A fluorocarbon resin film or a fluorocarbon resin tape obtd. by a specified method is used, and an optically anisotropic molecular material is formed on the surface of the film. For example, a fluorocarbon resin film or a fluorocarbon resin tape produced by rolling is used. Or, a fluorocarbon resin film or a fluorocarbon resin tape obtd. by cutting from a fluorocarbon resin formed body with a blade is used. Preferably, a fluorocarbon resin film or a tape obtd. by continuously cutting a fluorocarbon resin formed body with a blade is used. As for the fluorocarbon resin formed body, a cylindrical formed body of a fluorocarbon resin is used. As for the forming method, well-known method can be used, and a proper method is selected according to the kind of the fluorocarbon resin. |
