PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert directly and efficiently an electric energy into the motional energy of an electrically sensitive work medium, by disposing in a rotatable way a rotor in a hermetic housing comprising a bottomed medium storing portion and a cap, and by providing first and second electrodes on the surface of the rotor in an up-and-down direction. SOLUTION: Forming a cylindrical hermetic housing out of a cap 44 and a medium storing portion 41, a rotary rotor 46 is disposed together with a rotary shaft 45 in the medium storing portion 41 to provide first and second electrodes 43, 42 on the surface of the cylindrically formed rotor 46. Further, filling an electrically sensitive working medium 21 into the medium storing portion 41, the application of a DC voltage is performed between the first and second electrodes 43, 42 via external terminals 53, 52 to rotate the rotor 46 accompanied by the flowing of the electrically sensitive work medium 21. Thereby, utilizing the flow of the electrically sensitive work medium 21, an electric energy can be converted efficiently into a rotary energy. |
