PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cloth of a dirt resistant polyester based fiber having a durable preventing function for darkening by forming a melamine-based resin membrane containing a modified organosilicate on a polyester fiber. SOLUTION: This cloth of a dirt resistant polyester-based fiber is obtained by preparing an aqueous treating liquid by blending 0.1-40wt.% melamine or a melamine derivative expressed by formula I [R1 to R6 are each H, OH, OCn H2n+1 , CH2 OH, CH2 OCn H2n+1 , C2 H4 OH, C3 H6 OH, CONH2 , CONHCH2 OH or CH2 CHOCH2 ; (n) is an integer of 1-10], 0.01-10wt.% modified organosilicate expressed by formula II (R is an alkyl such as CH3 , C3 H5 , etc.) and 0.01-10wt.% 2,2'-azobis dihydrochloric acid salt, impregnating the treating liquid to the alkali reduction-treated cloth of a polyester fiber, and then steam heat-treating for adhering 0.1-15wt.% melamine based resin and 0.01-5wt.% modified organosilicate to the fiber based on the weight of the fiber to impart the dirt resistance. |
