The torque transmitter for rotating tools is used in particular for screwdriver bits and has two connection arrangements (3) which can rotate coaxially relative to each other. The first connection arrangement is connected to a drive mechanism for example the electric screw driver motor. The second connection arrangement has a chuck for insertion of the screwdriver bit. The two connection arrangements are joined together by a coupling which transmits torque between the two under elastic deformation. The coupling is a hard rubber body (1) and means are provided to limit the angle of torsion.
