The cap (2) has a surface (4) closing the opening to the container and which tears open when a pre-set excess pressure is reached. The closure surface has at least two weakened grooves. The grooves cut or touch at least one line near the area of greatest flexural or tensile stress, or which cut or touch in at least one point lying near the greatest flexural or tensile stress of the closure surface. The cap has a seal (10) which tears open when the closure surface also tears. The shoulder (11) of the closure cap is indented at the side.
