the water recirculation pump may be used in a sewage farm or a water purification station. It consists of a generally cylindrical body (1) mounted concentrically inside a cylindrical section of pipe (7). It is mounted on pairs of struts (4,5) near its downstream end. The portion downstream of the struts is a frustum of a cone, with a propeller (2) at its end. A plastics ring (8) fastened inside the pipe fits closely round the tips of the propeller blades. An armoured and protected power lead (12) enters the side of the pipe and is connected to the drive motor (9). The forward end of the motor is covered by a hemispherical cap (10).
