PURPOSE:To efficiently work a specified part by providing a control means controlling an expansion driving means so as to subject the whole working hole to honing by a long-sized grindstone, after executing honing of the specified part of the work hole by a short-sized grindstone. CONSTITUTION:In case of there being a small diameter part, a tool head 7 is lifted and driven to the position where the small diameter part is detected, the grindstone expanded and driven by a grindstone changing over mechanism 9 is switched to a short-sized grindstone 5, which is expanded and driven by a notch adjusting mechanism 10. The small part is then subjected to honing with the tool head 7 being driven by its lift with being rotated and driven. Then, when the small diameter part is eliminated, the whole body of a cylinder bore 11 is subjected to honing by a long-sized grindstone 6, so the tool head 7 is driven by lifting to a honing start position, the grindstone is switched to the long-sized grindstone 6 and driven by its expansion. Then, the tool head 7 is driven by lift over to the descent position from the honing start position as well as being driven by its rotation and the grindstone is switched to the long-sized grindstone 6 and driven by its expansion. Then, the tool head 7 is driven by its rotation and also driven by its lift over to the descent position from honing start position, and the whole body of the cylinder bore 11 is subjected to honing. |
