Simultaneous data and electric power transmitting/receiving system

In a data and power transmitting/receiving system (100) applicable to a home automation system, a plurality of terminal devices (20A:20N), e.g., a heater, and an air conditioner are connected to a plurality of communication devices (10A:10N). These communication devices (10A:10N) are mutually connected to each other via a common signal transmission line (30) in a wired-OR logic function. Bits of a data signal (45) are allocated to the respective terminal device (20A:20N). The data signal (45) is constructed of data (40) and sync signals (50). The sync signals (50) are also utilized as DC power to the respective communication devices (10A:10N). Simultaneous data and power transmission/reception are realized.
