PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof case of a switch which prevents the entrance of water droplets or the like into it through a hole in the side of an upper case by means of ribs provided in such a way so to surround the hole. SOLUTION: A switch unit is stored in a case consisting of an upper case 1 and a lower case 25 provided on its side with projections 25a, 25b which are locked into holes 1g, 1h provided in the side of the upper case 1. Ribs 1i, 1j by which water droplets or the like that flow down along the side from the top of the upper case 1 are guided downward and discharged are provided in such a way as to surround the holes 1g, 1h in the side of the upper case 1.
