PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the production of oxide scale and to execute efficient heating by burning combustion exhaust gas from a heating zone with high temp. air produced in a specific air preheater in a preheating zone. SOLUTION: In the preheating zone 2, mixed gas obtained by adding the necessary quantity of fuel to the combustion gas containing uncombusted content in the heating zones 3, 4 is dispersedly supplied near the material 1 to be heated and burnt with the high temp. air supplied from heat storage changing type preheating air generators 25 arranged at both sides of the furnace. In the heating zones 3, 4, the fuel is burnt by a heat storage combustion changing type burners 9, 10, dispersedly supplied to the vicinity of the surface of the material 1 by dispersed supplying pipes 14, 15 and burnt with a low air ratio. In such a combustion, since the reducing gas is generated in the vicinity of the material 1 in the preheating zone 2 and the heating zones 3, 4, the production and the growth of scale are restrained. |
