<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain an output improvement in all speed areas from low speed area to high speed area by providing a first intake passage allowing an air cleaner to communicate with an intake air extending chamber and a second intake passage every cylinder, and allowing each passage to communicate with a capacity part through opening and closing valves. SOLUTION: Ports (second intake passages) 7-10 are formed between an intake air extending chamber 6 and intake valves 2a-5b, and a throttle body 11 is connected to an air cleaner 13 by an intake passage (first intake passage) 14. A capacity chamber 15 having opening and closing valves 17-20 arranged in one angle is provided to allow the capacity chamber 15 to communicate with the ports 7-10 through the opening and closing valves 17-20. A negative pressure control valve 23 is operated in a low area where the rotating speed of an engine is lower than a prescribed value to rotate a shaft 16, and the opening valves 17-20 are set in a position for blocking the communication between the capacity chamber 15 and the ports 7-10. On the other hand, they are controlled to a position for allowing the capacity chamber 15 to communicate with the ports 7-10 in a high area, and the intake efficiency is enhanced in a wide rotating range to provide a large output.</p> |
