PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial blood vessel capable of restraining thrombus from forming up after transplantation and aiding the formation of the cell inside the skin by making the tissue inductive substance composite whole over the surface of a drawn polytetrafluoroethylene porous tube having fiber like tissue and making the anti-thrombus substance composition only on the knotting part inside the tube surface. SOLUTION: The tissue inductive substance is made composite over the fiber surface of the inner, outer and wall surface of a drawn polytetrafluoroethylene porous tube having fiber like tissue composed of knottings united together with the fiber, and further the anti-thrombus substance is made composite only on the knotting part inside the tube surface (surface touching the blood) to obtain the specified artificial blood vessel. There it's desirable that the distance between knottings on the tube touching the blood is over than 60μm and that its layer is multilayer structure containing at least one layer in which the distance between knottings is 20-40μm. Adopted as tissue inductive substance is fibronectin as well as heparin is adopted as the anti- thrombus substance. |
